Hotel Bougainvillea

The Hotel Bougainvillea is an excellent choice if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood not far from the downtown of San Jose and was awarded 3 CST leaves for excellence in sustainability*. The hotel is set among lush gardens and offers most of the amenities of the more expensive resort hotels around the valley, but charges considerably less. The views of the Hotel Bougainvillea across the valley from its hillside location are beautiful, and the gardens of the hotel are beautifully designed and well tended. The full service gourmet restaurant features international cuisine served elegantly on fine linen, imported bone china, crystal stemware and fresh flowers on every table.

At the Hotel Bougainvillea, guests can experience large rooms with two double beds, a sitting area and a full range of facilities. Each room has a balcony offering marvelous views of the mountains or the San José skyline. Each of the 81 rooms boasts twin double beds, tub or shower with hair dryers. There are also four Junior suites and two rooms for the disabled. The furniture is especially made of Costa Rican hardwoods and all rooms have cable T.V. and direct dial telephones.
